大衛，意爲(天父)所愛的，約生於公元前十世紀的耶穌出生地伯力恆，以色列第二位王，也是以色列第一位偉大的王，而耶穌是太初創世之天道Heaven Logos，萬王之王。道成血肉之軀的祂，受先知約翰的洗禮之後，有天父的靈顯現降在祂身上，幷有聲音説:"這是我的愛子，我所喜悅的。"大衛的父親名耶西，音與耶穌相近，語義"神的禮物";耶穌確是天父給這宇宙的最佳禮物。

大衛一生被兩個惡王陷害和追殺多次;耶穌出生後不久，希律王就想殺祂，當時猶太人的宗教領導班子，撒都該、文士和法利賽人，也多次陷害他，導致祂最終被判十架之刑，但也按祂原訂計劃，三天後死裡復活，向世人宣告人可藉其名,與天父復合,重生得新心,戰勝罪死,然後重回天國做王。大衛被嫉妒他的掃羅王追殺，但最終還是按天父的計劃登上王位; 被篡位的兒子追殺，也最後重得王位。大衛，以年少之身擊殺了身經百戰的巨人哥力亞; 耶穌，年少時就在聖殿裡站在巨人的肩膀上，與經學高手辯論。祂也以有限的肉身打敗了那古蛇魔鬼。大衛，實踐壞柔政策; 耶穌，心裡柔和謙卑。大衛和耶穌一樣是偉大的詩人。

那不也可説又是一個時空十字架嗎？

大衛犯大罪後作詩:" 別丟棄我，使我離開你的面；不要從我收回你的聖靈。"耶穌臨死前也喊出類似的話，所不同的是，天父不是爲祂的罪，而是祂所要贖的宇宙生靈罪惡，才暫時收回祂的靈，但這對耶穌而言，是在數小時十架引力地獄時最痛苦的事。祂從未與天父分離。

故事主要是記錄在舊約《聖經》撒姆耳記上下之中，意即大衛身平之中有許多特徵，可被視爲創世天道耶穌的預言。當然，大衛王並不完美，在罪惡的世界裡他也曾犯錯，他並非耶穌，只是他未來的影子罷了。耶穌也説過，亞伯拉罕以先就有了我，否認大衛是祂的本體祖先，其實也是在撇清他與家譜祖宗惡行的關係。

大衛，是新約聖經原文最先提到的舊約人物。和合本翻譯却把多國信心之父阿巴樂函放在前面，雖説差別不大，但却似乎有違新約使徒保羅説的"先是猶太人"，即雅各或以色列國人，福音原本的狹義選民優先原則。但，把萬國信心之父阿巴樂函放在前面，會比較適合華人。可見，和合本聖經翻譯者並非原教旨主義者。故，他們的專有名詞翻譯用了很多"拉"''便''等不雅駡人的字眼，以防個人崇拜。

有人説考古學證明後來被劫掠一空的大衛時代是銅鐵器時代，根本不存在大衛王這個人,你們覺得可笑嗎？摩西所建的會幕，約公元前一千三百年，裡面就已有黃金。附近的埃及古文明更是證據確鑿。這就是唯物實證論者常犯的錯誤。

David, meaning (Heavenly Father's) beloved one, born around one millennium BC, in Bethleham, where Jesus was born, is the first Old Testament figure mentioned in the New Testament Greek texts. David was the second king as well as first great king of Israel, and Jesus, The Logos, is the King of kings. In His Incarnation, after being baptized by Prophet John, the Spirit of the Father appeared on him, and a voice said: "This is my beloved Son, in whom I was well pleased." David's father was Jesse, which bear the semantics of God's gift, has a sound similar to "Jesus"; Jesus is indeed the best gift given to the world by the Father.

David was framed and hunted down many times in his life by two evil kings; Jesus, King Harold wanted to kill Him while He was a child. And, He was also framed many times by, religious leader group of that time, Sudducees, scribes and Pharisees. He was eventually sentenced to death on a cross, yet in realising His original plan, three days later, He resurrected and returned to His throne in heaven. David was hunted by King Saul who was jealous of him, yet he eventually ascended to the throne following the plan of our Heavenly Father; hunted by his son who usurped his throne, yet was finally regained the throne.

David, while he was a young man, killed Goliath, who had experienced many battles in the past; Jesus, when he was young, debated with masters of the Old Testament in the Temple. He also defeated the ancient snake or the Devil with a limited physical body. David, held meek political practice; Jesus, meek and humble in heart. Finally, David is a great poet like Jesus.

The stories of David is mainly recorded in the Pre-Prophets, the Book of Samuel 1 and 2, meaning they are prophecies too. He was not perfect too. He was just shadow of things to come.
